From CAD to post-processing, STAR-CCM+ delivers the entire CFD process in a single integrated software environment, automating the steps of CAD preparation, meshing, model set-up, and iterative design studies. The Isight STAR-CCM+ component creates a direct link to STAR-CCM+, allowing for sophisticated design studies to be easily set-up and performed.
The STAR-CCM+ component operates on a reference .sim file by extracting all relevant input and output parameters. At run time, the component updates the input values in the .sim file and generates a macro to automate the STAR-CCM+ execution and extract results of interest.
